FOOD TRUCKS & Jazz!

If you operate a food truck or a food tent you’re welcome to sign up as a vendor for this, our SECOND FOOD TRUCKS AND JAZZ EVENT. LAST YEAR THE EVENT WAS A BIG SUCCESS PARTLY BECAUSE we're no stranger to food truck events. WE've Put on a Dozen! IF This, our Spring Event, CONTINUES TO DRAW CROWDS WE HOPE TO EVENTUALLY TRANSITION TO A FULL BLOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL.

 

THE FOOD TRUCKS AND JAZZ EVENT IS a fundraiser that benefits The Rotary Club of Mitchell Field.  WE  make our money selling beer, soda and water. That’s why we require that vendors don’t sell beer, soda or water. Specialty beverages are alright IF YOU WORK IT OUT WITH US AHEAD OF TIME. WE'RE STILL GOING TO LIMIT DUPLICATION OF OFFERINGS SO CONTACT US ASAP IF YOU WANT TO SERVE A BEVERAGE OTHER THAN SODA OR WATER.

 

If you’re wondering whether it will be a profitable day for you, I can say that THE LAST TWO FALL EVENTS we drew BETWEEN 1000 AND 1500 people AND MANY TRUCKS ALL BUT SOLD OUT. It helps that there are neighborhoods surrounding the park and four immense apartment and condo complexes a short walk from the park. It also helps that we have live music and ACTIVITIES for the kids. 

 

And This Years event is going to run longer (11A to 6P) with more Music and Fewer Trucks! 

 

We try to limit trucks so there’s no duplicate cuisine. We’ll accept one pizza truck, one truck selling Mexican Specialties, etc. Please submit an application ASAP so we can prevent duplication.
